Terms of Service

Last updated: March 28, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using swarmctl, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

swarmctl provides ephemeral PostgreSQL databases that run in isolated virtual machines. Databases are temporary by design and will be automatically destroyed after their time-to-live (TTL) expires.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use swarmctl for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Do not store sensitive personal data, credentials, or production data in ephemeral databases.

4. Data and Storage

Databases are ephemeral. When a database's TTL expires or it is manually destroyed, all data is permanently deleted. We are not responsible for any data loss. It is your responsibility to export any data you wish to keep before the database is destroyed.

5. Service Limits

Each plan has limits on the number of concurrent databases, maximum TTL, and available features. We reserve the right to enforce these limits and suspend accounts that exceed them.

6. Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. swarmctl is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

7. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
